How We Review

Our review process starts with the buying decision, not with a product link.

1. Define the shopper’s need

We begin by identifying the use case, audience, constraints and questions that matter for the category.

2. Build relevant criteria

We identify decision factors appropriate to the product type—for example, functionality, usability, compatibility, durability indicators, value, maintenance, or portability.

3. Research products and claims

We may examine official specifications, documentation, retailer information and other relevant public sources. Where direct hands-on testing has not occurred, we should not imply that it has.

4. Compare trade-offs

A useful recommendation explains not only strengths but also limitations and who may be better served by an alternative.

5. Form the editorial conclusion

We translate the research into a practical answer: who should consider the product, why, and what to check before buying.

6. Review and update

Important product information can change. We may revisit published content when material information changes.
